Lamine comes to Arent Fox from HSBC Bank, where he held roles as a vice president of Global Sanctions Investigations and Policy & Governance. Before that, Lamine was an associate in the DC office of an international law firm, as a member of the global, white collar investigations team. Lamine also brings a wealth of government experience.
After law school, he joined the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control as an Attorney-advisor and Sanctions Investigator. During law school, Lamine was a FOIA Analyst at the US Department of State. He received his LLM in Finance from Goethe Universität, Institute for Law & Finance, his JD from The George Washington University Law School, his Master of Arts degree in International Economic Affairs from The George Washington University Elliot School of International Affairs.
