Matthew’s experience includes representing employers and management employees in all industries before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels throughout California. Matthew also has represented nonprofits with unique employment, medical, religious, and confidentiality issues, as well as defended single plaintiff and class action matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, whistleblower, and accommodation claims.
Matthew also advises and counsels employers regarding employee complaints or requests, investigations, discipline, hiring and termination, medical and other leaves, and requests for accommodation; and, he prepares and revises employment agreements, handbooks, and policies. Matthew also has negotiated and drafted numerous other agreements, including arbitration agreements, employee leasing agreements, confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements, compensation and bonus agreements, severance and release agreements, and settlement agreements.
Matthew also advises and counsels employers regarding investigations, discipline, hiring and termination, and he prepares and revises employment agreements, handbooks, and policies.
